The "Sin City: A Dame To Kill For" star channels her ladylike side while lounging and sun-soaking poolside for Cosmopolitan Turkey. Dressed in all white for summer, including a crop top and a sheer top with feather embellishments and hanging poolside with sexy tousled hair never looked so glamorous...

Style Musings | Lookbook: Salua S/S 2014

Style Musings | Lookbook: Salua S/S 2014

A love for white is quite obvious here, there and everywhere on this blog, so after running into the most perfect little white dress on a Sunday night at a little downtown festival across from home, felt it necessary to share the overflow of inspiration for something as lovely and delicate as Salua's 2014 spring-summer collection of intimates.

Have been known to fall for the soft and sexy look, a recent favorite being Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for Vogue Germany of July 2014, and this photo shoot is nothing short of that.

Monarch Butterflies of Salua features classically feminine and romantic pieces, featuring stretch silk satin and soft eyelash lace trimmings (a personal favorite) on rompers and robes.  These unusual and striking pieces provoke such a desire for lounging around and about in pretty, sexy, little things...

Visual Vignette: Smokey Whites Visual Vignette: Smokey Whites

Now that summer has officially arrived, the closet's choices consist of white blouses, white lace, just endless opportunities of white and so, leaving you with a little bit more than just white, but inspiration for smokey whites (a fleeting attempt to add some form of color to the wardrobe) today...

Le Weekend: Sun-Drenched Days & Dreamy Whites

Visual Vignette: Dreamy Whites

Though exploring the city by night this Saturday, there's still two whole sun-drenched days to look forward to and plans include wondering around a very favorite, very quaint downtown spot full of vintage treasures, and searching for the perfect antique vanity tray for my mother's many perfume bottles.

Looking forward to spending time with loved ones and little ones, dressed in dreamy whites and smelling the roses at my parent's home and much, much more.

Here, an Instagram visual vignette of dreamy whites and hope your weekend will be as enchanting as you imagine it to be.

Fashion Musings | Editorial: Zoe Saldana for The Edit

Laser-cut lace, large white leather tote bags, crop tops and knitted camisoles in an abundance of ladylike white...Zoe Saldana's appearance in The Edit for NET-A-PORTER very much reminds me of a recent closet editing just prior to moving this April.

Tucking away all the heavy, knitted grey sweaters and wool coats in exchange for delicately appropriate whites and lace detailed blouses and of course, anything floral patterned, and all this spring cleaning signals days ahead full of cool, floral-laden air and romance blooming...

Visual Vignette: Minimalist Clothing Racks

Officially moved out and moved in and surprisingly all unpacked, but am nowhere near organized! Hoping to have some sense of order when there's room for downtime, to rearrange and sort all items, and to create a working space. Must admit, it has been very difficult to share and create without a proper station to inspire and motivate.

And on the topic of organizing, these pretty, pretty and very simple clothing racks in copper, silver and gold, make room for a little closet storage inspiration. Though always striving to display every pair of shoe, coat and dress hanging in the closet, these racks instill an idea to leave just enough space for only the season's wearables. Wondering...could the maximalist in me compromise to such a notion?

Site News | Personal Update: With A Passion...

Site News | Personal Update: With A Passion...

A little sad for the lack of updates and sharing here, but promising that it will all resume hopefully by next weekend!

Have been delightfully busy spending the weekend in the city with M, with a mix of the usual activities such as movies and meals, but there was also a little bit more excitement and change...happenstance that we came across a very magical carousel, so sad that we couldn't enjoy a ride since it was getting very late. Also discovered a little photo booth! We broke a record this weekend with having four separate photos taken of us! At last, there was dim sum and conversations over two bottles of wine with M's family and suddenly, Sunday faded away as if it never meant to arrive...

The busy-ness won't fade away, lots of overtime to be due for work events this weekend, and am reasonably re-considering my site's platform for added functionality and efficiency.

Would be lovely to do more, create more and give more not only here, but elsewhere as well and with that, hope that you, also, are driven with a passion for all things beautiful, like a toss of crisp white blooms perhaps sitting in a vase atop your dinner table or work station, or in that neighborhood that you like to walk through...the air and romance of spring, hope you take the time to enjoy it.

Fashion Musings | Editorial: Still Life by Claire Pettibone

Fashion Musings | Editorial: Still Life by Claire Pettibone

First, it was SYNDICATE's fashion forward digital garden, and then, earlier, a look at Doloris Petunia's absolutely adorable flower girl dresses and now today, a preview of Claire Pettibone's Still Life collection and the love for anything and everything floral continues!

Set against abstract floral backdrops, each photograph, effortlessly captured by none other than Elizabeth Messina, captures a certain artistry behind Claire Pettibone's impeccable work.

Swooning over these terribly beautiful dresses and photographs, have long been mesmerized by Elizabeth Messina with the dreaminess, lightness of her work and have also always been captivated by Claire Pettibone's breathtaking collections.  Both have collaborated with one another previously and am always stunned by the measure of beauty in everything done together...

Am unsurprisingly whisked away into thoughts of gardens in full bloom, traipsing around in a little white dress against a summer breeze from looking at these photos.

“In the second half of the 17th century, the art of the floral still life reached the height of fashion. Dramatic arrangements of flora and fauna, insects and fruits, set against dramatic dark backgrounds exude a mysterious romanticism. The brilliance of nature’s beauty is highlighted to dramatic effect, just as the bride becomes the center of our attention. Painterly butterflies and floral details grade delicate silks and laces gilded in gold, glowing as if lit from within. Oh, the unexplainable mystery of love! Be still my heart…still in love…still life.” Claire Pettibone

Fashion Musings | From The Archives: Ina Balke In Palm Beach

Fashion Musings | From The Archives: Ina Balke In Palm Beach

Incredibly inspired by this photo of model, Ina Balke, taken in 1962 by famous French photographer, Jeanloup Sieff, so much so that I felt compelled to share immediately! Captivated by Ina's cool, calm composure, the pulled back hair bun, the lace trimming below the elbow length butterfly sleeves and the mounds of ruffles layered along the neckline and that tiny detail of a satin bow amidst it all...

Though uncertain of the actual color of this dress from the purposeful black and white photography, am certainly daydreaming of a dress exactly like this, would be perfect in white and perfect for a little getaway lounging at a beach house or strolling underneath a summer sun!

Style Musings | Street Style: Blanc Statement

Not too long ago, M pointed out, in an effort to make me realize, and, possibly to open discussion for a fashion intervention, that I purchase too many grey sweaters. This was after I had mentioned the thought of buying him another grey sweater, seeing that the wool one I gave him previously looked just too perfect on him, but I see his point, for I'm a little obsessed with wearing the colors grey and black (see here, here, here and many others here) and have been since my younger years.

It seems as though 2013 has been a turning point for me, though, as I've been drawn to the color white more and more these days. Have even been dreaming of the perfect LWD (little white dress) to wear while perusing through shops and grabbing brunch, but have yet to find something suitable.

Style Musings | Street Style: Blanc Statement

Until the perfect LWD comes around, will be making a BLANC statement in sheer floral peplums and cropped lace tops...

Style Musings | Lookbook: SJ Lingerie

Style Musings | Lookbook: SJ Lingerie

For the bold and daring romantic searching for lingerie pieces to fit the mold, look no further than SJ Lingerie. A certain kind of enchantment comes with every piece in the current collections, with title names, such as Pearl, Muse, Amour and Yours. Lovers of vintage and lace be warned - this brand has nothing but utterly desirable garments - French leavers lace inserts, art-deco inspired beaded embroidery, hand sewn ribbon flower trimmings and lots and lots of delicacy.
