5 things to look forward to this week | 8.4.14

Saturdays always seem to go by quicker when a certain baby nephew is home and still learning to walk, but Sunday, on the other hand, always seems to be the day when everything slows down for a whole 24 hours. Though most things didn't go as planned, there's still hope and excitement lingering, for there is a very anticipated project underway...more news on that! This week's edition of 5 things seems to have a theme of nudes, a personally favorite color…

With my new set from Gossard, can't wait to the pretty under things around and about.
 
  Always feel impossibly chic when wearing my pair of pearl earrings and haven't done so in a while so the next office outfit will include pretty pearls and red, red lips.

Am in need of cleaning and organizing my shoes and so this weekend will consist of some closet makeover.

Will continue on the search for the perfect sized clutch, to hold all my necessities; my phone, glasses, lipstick and more.

Perhaps a trip to the shops to pick up Jo Malone's Red Roses perfume, which have been admiring from a distance for some time now.

Style Musings | Lookbook: Salua S/S 2014

A love for white is quite obvious here, there and everywhere on this blog, so after running into the most perfect little white dress on a Sunday night at a little downtown festival across from home, felt it necessary to share the overflow of inspiration for something as lovely and delicate as Salua's 2014 spring-summer collection of intimates.

Have been known to fall for the soft and sexy look, a recent favorite being Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for Vogue Germany of July 2014, and this photo shoot is nothing short of that.

Monarch Butterflies of Salua features classically feminine and romantic pieces, featuring stretch silk satin and soft eyelash lace trimmings (a personal favorite) on rompers and robes.  These unusual and striking pieces provoke such a desire for lounging around and about in pretty, sexy, little things...

Inspired Outfit: A Summer Garden Afternoon

Le holiday weekend started with endless mimosas and margaritas, home cooked brunches and lunches that ultimately led to daring dinner choices and a new must visit cafe for the future and this morning, there was laughter and beautifully messy bed head shared with M, a charming mix of music on shuffle and, in a little bit, possibly one too many cups of iced coffee to enjoy while catching up on reading, writing cards and organizing.

Tomorrow, tomorrow there's an uncertainty of what to do, but today's inspired outfit may just lead to the very idea of visiting a summer garden in the afternoon to admire an abundance of floral beauty and to be beneath a cloudless summer sky...

Inspired Outfit: Valentine's Vixen

Am certain that for Valentine's Day, maybe a little va-va-vixen will suit for tomorrow night's rendezvous -  in the form of a little black dress and red lips to make M's heart flutter.  If it hasn't been obvious now, beautiful lingerie is an absolute must to my outfits, the foundation of it all and simply just another layer of stunning to complete the whole look.   Wherever you are, whatever you may do for this weekend, whether celebrating a few days off (four days in the city with M for me) or going anti-holiday, hope you enjoy it all!

Sexy Little Things: That's Amour

Starting this Monday off with a punch of passion in the classic color, red. Don't personally own any red accessories other than my MAC lipstick in Ruby Woo and a Yves Saint Laurent lip stain in No. 9 Rouge Laque, but this scarlet silk and French leavers lace has me passionately obsessed for all things red, like a pair of kitten heels with bows fastened in the front and just bitten lips, before the swoon of a first kiss. His loose, torn jeans, a tomboy (or rather, unisex) satchel and slouchy monotonous pullovers all over his closet...and from mine (hers), a touch of lace underneath it all and my pre-birthday heels from Kwin - all of this during the week, for the weekends, at the shops and at the office, possibilities are endless when there's lots to do these days.
