Instagram Inspiration | Wanderlust: Paris 07.25.14 Instagram Inspiration | Wanderlust: Paris 07.25.14 Wouldn't know where to begin in explaining how Instagram has become a positive source of inspiration, especially for travel, and so, introducing a new series today with some Instagram inspiration in the form of wanderlust and travel, to the beloved city of Paris, as shared by Catherine of See Creatures. Dream away. Site News | Personal Update: Taking Flight To Chicago

Site News | Personal Update: Taking Flight To Chicago

Have always found it to be romantic when two lovers part and reunite at airports, and after last night's dinner with M, being dropped off by and saying goodbye to him seems much too bittersweet now.

Of all the things packed, my laptop isn't one of them, so things will be quiet around here, but there are always daily adventures to be had on Instagram @soulcallove.

As mentioned previously, here's to all the joyous firsts for this trip and the grand adventures that lie ahead, involving new buildings against old ones, walks along the lake and streets that hum the sound of busy-ness.

Goodbye for now!

Eternally,
Rosie

Adventurous Getaway | Places To Visit: Chicago

Merely days away from taking flight to Chicago and nowhere near ready to pack for two weeks far from home and to be thousands of miles away from M. There are firsts for everything and this trip will be the beginning of its own kind, my first flight alone, but will be greeted with good company upon arrival.

And until my very own adventures can take place starting this upcoming Wednesday, here's a glimpse of Chicago via Instagram, from above, from the streets, from sea-level and more...

Adventurous Getaway | Places To Visit: Bo Nuage

Adventurous Getaway | Places To Visit: Bo Nuage

BO NUAGE - 8010 MELROSE AVENUE | LOS ANGELES, CA 90046 - (310) 880-2065

Most dreamlovers fantasize of laying around in a bed of fluffy clouds somewhere high in the sky, but at LA's chicest bakery, Bo Nuage (French for 'Beautiful Cloud'), one can have a taste of clouds - maybe more so a taste of heaven. The bakery features little light and fluffy pastries offered in 15 delightful flavors, made from a mix of meringue sandwiched between layers of whipped cream and topped with chocolate shavings, all organic ingredients.

The overly neutral and utterly timeless look of this 120-square foot space is where 1960s mod meets classic Parisienne glamour, designed by Jessica Marx of J. Marx Atelier. The visually striking interior features a geometrical minimalistic, white and black design scheme, with the contrast of colorful layers dispersing from the delectable cake clouds.

Founders Pascal and Audrey Achcar have already established their mastery of Parisienne culinary skills at Lette Macarons, a Pasadena shop that carries handmade macarons, with Bo Nuage as another addition to their repertoire.

“We wanted to continue the family tradition of making fine Parisian pastries available [in Los Angeles].” - Achcar
