Style Musings | Décor Desires: Exotic Glamour in Toronto with Jessica Waks
It is clear that designer Jessica Waks has a thing for glamour and her newly renovated 1,900 square-foot 1930s Toronto home showcases that one can never have enough of glamour. The eclectic, bold space features jolts of saturated colors and feminine, chinoiserie accents in the form of tufted upholstery, bar carts for pre-dinner cocktails, a wildly admirable lavender mohair chair and ethereal hand-painted Chinese wallpaper.
There's also the grand extended foyer with marble harlequin floor and crystal light fixture, truly setting the mood for the rest of the space...the hand-carved fireplace, vintage crystal sconces, plenty of exotic cat prints, black and white in the form of contemporary prints and striped furniture (some of the designer's favorite decorating elements) and so much more to be mesmerized by such a space...
